Kevin,

I'm not an "expert" at either Commerce Server or BizTalk Server, just
someone that's had a chance to use both products for a long time. The real
"experts" in my opinion are the developers/testers on both teams. I've met a
few and they are truly awesome.

To answer your question (I hope), right now you need to install the BTS2006
Beta 2 and the CS2006 Beta on a single server in order for the new Commerce
Server BizTalk Adapters to work correctly. This will be fixed in the RTM
version of CS2006 but for now, both products must be on the same server.

For development purposes I recommend installing Win2K3 SP1, SQL 2005, VS
2005, BTS2006 Beta 2 and then CS2006 Beta on a single development server
with 2 GB system memory. This will allow you to develop in CS2006 and
BTS2006 and SQL 2005 from within Visual Studio.
