OS Requirements for CS2006

| Reading the Commerce Server 2006 information suggests that CS2006 must
be installed on Windows 2003 Server.
How does this requirement affect developers who are developing for
CS2006?
Will they be able to develop from Windows XP based workstations?
Do developers install a different package?

| Regardless of whether or not XP is supported I've found that I've had to
do development on Windows Server 2003 because of the IIS connection limit
alone. I always manage to exceed the 40+ connections at some point during
development. I'm pretty sure though that Commerce Server 2006 will not install
on XP. There was a post in the beta newsgroups about the documentation not
installing on XP so I would assume that is true for the rest of it.
Cheers,
Colin

| CS2006 will release a developer SKU that will work on XP Professional
edition.
Also all the business managr UIs will support XP.
Thanks,
Sudha

| Will the developer SKU be available before the final release? I now have the
problem that I have to reinstall all the development machines with windows
2003 because the commerce server assemblies will not install on XP
