is there any way to avoid rowlock in commerce server DBStorage component

Which version of CS are you using ?
Have you implemented something on your own using DBStorage object ?

I've typically encountered these issues when my SQL server was stressed out
due to load...

I'm using CS 2002 Standard
I use commerce.dll
