| I've got a strange problem with Direct Mailer. I make a list of
recipients and process it as usual. The job is stared ok according to
the event log, and I've had a look in the database that the job is
actually running. The mails are processed one by one, changing their
status flag. When the job is done Direcft Mailer report that the job
finished successfully.. In other words, everything looks ok. The
problem is that no mail are sent.
Direct Mailer does not output any logs even though the logging settings
are checked and double-checked. There does not seem to be any "out of
memory" / "out of discspace" related problems. Sending mail fron the
active smtp server works too, so it doesn't seem to be a mail server
problem wither. Does anyone have any idea where to start looking?
The only idea I've had so far is that the logging disc WAS full some
time ago, but cleared relatively quickly. Could this have caused some
Direct Mailer process to hang? I've tried restarting the SMTP serverci
etc, but no change. Since it's a live DB server for a big site I
haven't been able to restart the server yet.. idead?
Kind regards,
Eric
