| Compilation Error in web.config 2006-07-07, 1:18 pm |
| Hello,
I'm doing a proof of concept on CS2007, and was able to load everything ok,
and import the profiles from my CS2002 server, but I'm having trouble
accessing the editor for the profiles. It just says "Loading Editor" and
does nothing. I have followed a previous post where it says to make sure
that the widgits Virtual Directory is pointing to C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Enterprise Servers\Commerce Server\Widgets, made sure
that I disabled Anonymous access, and finally I have MSXML 4.0 SP2 installed
on my machine. Nothing is making it work. Any ideas? Thanks.

| The problem may be with the IE default security settings. The following was
recommended by a poster on beta newsgroup and worked for me and others:
1. Start IE browser.
2. Select Tools, then Internet Options on IE main menu.
3. Select Security tab on Internet Options window.
4. Click on Trusted Sites icon in "Select a Web content zone to specify
the security settings"
5. Click on Sites... button of Internet Options window
6. Type http://<CS web server computer name> in "Add this Web site to
the zone" of Trusted Sites window
7. Click Add button of Trusted Sites window
8. Click Close button of Trusted Sites window
9. Click Apply button of Internet Options window
10. Click OK button of Internet Options window
11. Close IE browser
Good luck,
