Hello,

I am confused, I don't understand what Property Metadata of Schema Manager
used for.
I can understand the Language session, but not the "Properties", Could
someone explain to me what "Assigned Properties" used for in Property
Metadata?

Thanks a lot

Ming

The property Metadata is equivalent to the old AddPropertyAttribute
functionality in CS2002.

An example would be adding a "description" for every property in the
catalog system. If you want to somehow tell the user what each property is
used for, you could create a property named "PropertyDescription" and add
it as Property metadata i.e. add it to the "Assigned Properties" section.
Now you will have "PropertyDescription" to be a new property on all the
existing properties. For example, if you had created a property named
"Color", you could add a value(say "Used to described Color of any entity")
for "PropertyDescription" property on "Color" .

Thanks
Sudha
