| Hi all,
I've recently downloaded trial version of CS2006 and installed it.
When I tried to create new site from VS2005, wizard failed.
Due to event log there was an exception (below):
I've googled and found link

speaking of "private fix" for Windows XP SRX051111604907.
But all attempts to find it in web failed.
Question: is there a chance to aquire this fix without special
agreements/payments with Microsoft?
Maybe someone has aquired this fix and can share this dll (comsvcs.dll)?
Exception from Windows Event Log (Application):
A condition has occurred that indicates this COM+ application is in an
unstable state or is not functioning correctly. Assertion Failure:
m_pTxResPool == NULL
Server Application ID: {37CD3428-C732-490F-9B7E-A048D2B96156}
Server Application Instance ID:
{17D2BFD5-DD3F-4D75-83E1-96D632DF1ED7}
Server Application Name: Commerce Server Config
The serious nature of this error has caused the process to terminate.

| You can now download the official version of Commerce Server 2007 and try
it for free.

There is a Commerce Server COM+ update that you can install. But I am not
sure this is your exact issue:

Also, if you are still stuck with the same issue, since it is a known
issue, you can contact Product Support to obtain a hotfix for the problem:
http://www.support.microsoft.com/
If the issue is a known bug, you will not be charged for the call.
