| Hi there.
Any assistance regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
I recently took over a MSIB21 environment using Commerce Server 2002,
Content Management Server 2002 and Windows 2003.
The problem I am facing is this.
The Live server seems to be configured correctly but the Dev/Staging
(installed on one server) does not refelct the structure of the live server
and this is causing a lot of problems for us. From what I have gathered:
All the commerce databases are stored in MSIB21_commerce database but in Dev
the data is stored all over the place located in databases prefixed by MSCS.
The only configuration setting that is identical for the two servers is for
the Marketing Site Resources.
I have been requested to sort this out but with all of this confusion I
would appreciate any advice as tio how I should procedd with the
configuration. I was thinking of packaging the live server site into a pup
file and then importing that onto the dev server. IIS has also been
configured differently for each machine and also need to sort this out and as
such I gather that the pup file would be able to replicate the necessary
resources between machines.
Again, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
