Onhand Quantity and Pipeline problem

I'm using Commerce Server 2007
I have a question about updating the inventory after running checkout.pcf
(by calling RunCheckoutPipeline()).

I submit an order from the website and expect to see the property “onhand
quantity” going down, but it’s not.

I do not know why the value of “onhand quantity” still keeps unchanged.

I enabled the pipeline log already but did not find any useful information.
Anybody has any idea?

Would anyone please tell me how to debug that inside the pipeline?
