Author Catalog import error - I cant figure what it means

I am trying to send catalog data to Commerce Server from Biztalk. I have set
the Pipelines to be XmlReceive and XmlTransmit.

When I drop in a Catalog import xml file, I get this -

"<CommerceServerCatalogImportResponse><CatalogImportError LineNumber="13"
Message="Invalid column name 'NewCallout'. Invalid column name
'PromoCallout'." /></CommerceServerCatalogImportResponse>"

For the life of me I cannot figure out what this message means. NewCallout
and PromoCallout are 2 optional custom properties defined, but with or
without them the import fails.

Here is a sample of the Product data I send in. If you want the complete
Catalog schema and the Import XML, they are here -

(the default schema has been modified by adding some custom properties and
deployed to the Biztalk application)

Hi

Have you tried importing the XML files using the Catalog Manager UI? Do you
get the same errors?

Also are you doing a FULL or Incremental import?
If you have virtual catalogs in the system, can you try rebuilding them and
then doing the import?

Thanks
Sudha

Good idea, tried that and getting the exact same errors -

Line 13: Invalid column name 'NewCallout'. Invalid column name 'PromoCallout'.

Note that Both properties shows up (multiple times) in the
CatalogDefinitionProperties table in “Product catalog” database as well as
in the Edit Catalog properties from the Catalog Manager (user application).
So I think its safe to say these properties are there in the database.

Note - even if I do take out NewCallout and PromoCallout I stll get this
error. I am a Biztalk developer, not Commerce Server specialist and I really
need to understand the source of this error

Which one did you try?

If you tried the import using the Catalog Manager UI, can you tell me what
options you set in the Import Wizard. Also before doing the import, can you
use the "Edit" Menu and try "Rebuild All". Then go to the "Status" View and
wait for the rebuild to complete.

Thanks
Sudha

Does the PromoCallout property exist in the product's definition?

Thanks
