Hi,

In a recent deployment, we've put a single Commerce Server machine to talk
to a backend SQL Database (in a clustered environment). During the setup of
the Analysis Services on the cluster, it had been configured wrongly on the
default cluster node (say dbcls). Then Commerce Server was installed , etc.

Subsequently, the wrong Analysis Service configuration was found out and it
was deleted and recreated on the correct node sqlvs01 which also had the
Commerce Server DB.

After this when the site was unpacked, I do not see the cubes associated
with the site under Analysis server. I know it might be because Commerce
Server stored on Analysis Server but during Site unpack another was pointed
out. How can this be rectified.

Regards

Thank you for using Microsoft Newsgroups.

Which version of Commerce are you running? 2002 or 2000
Do you see the site_dw database created on the new analysis server when you
unpack the Commerce site?
Which installation guide document did you follow for the installation? Is
it from this Commerce Help documentation article: Installing on a
Four-Computer Clustered Configuration

Clustering for OLAP is not supported. Is analysis server installed on both
the cluster nodes or only one?

I'm using Commerce Server 2002.

The <sitename>_dw database has been created on the correct Virtual Server
during unpackaging of the site package.

SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services has been installed on both nodes of the
cluster as per KB 308023.

It is not a 4 node cluster. It is a 4 Server Configuration with a SQL
Cluster + 1 Server for Commerce Server 2002 and one for BizTalk Server 2002.

I followed a combination of MSIB Documentation + Commerce Server 2002
Installation Guides.

Regards.
