Creating Retail 2002 soloution in vs.net

| The scenario is as follows:-
Have a devserver dev01 (win2003) with cs2002 installed on
it, and we wish to develop from local machines using
vs.net 2003 using .net 1.1.
We are having real problems in creating the soloution from
local machines.
1) I have followed the instructions by unpacking the pup
file on dev01 and then gone back to my local pc and done
Open project -> browsed to the folder wwwroot/retail2002
folder on dev01 and opened retail2002.sln. A set security
to full control for everyone and the folder is shared.
I now get the error message:-
The default Web access mode for this project is set to
file share, but project folder
at "http://localhost/Retail2002" cannot be opened with the
path "c:\inetpub\wwwroot\Retail2002". The error returned
was:
Unable to open web project "Retail2002". The
Web "Retail2002" located on server "http://localhost" does
not exist.
If i change it to t:\inetpub\wwwroot\Retail2002 which is
the mapped drive to dev03 I get the same message.
If i change the path to \\dev01\wwwroot\Retail2002 I get

at "http://localhost/Retail2002" cannot be opened with the
path "\\dev01\wwwroot\Retail2002". The error returned was:
Unable to open web project "Retail2002". Unable to
validate that the file path "\\dev01
\inetpub\wwwroot\retail2002" matches the url
path "http://localhost/Retail2002". Access is denied.
I have Front Page Extensions installed, but if I try and
change the option to Try to open the project with Front
Page Server Extensions I get the following error message

FrontPage, but the project folder
at "Http://localhost/retail2002" cannot be opened with
FrontPahe. The error returned was:
Unable to open web project "Retail2002". Server error,
there is no web named "/Retail2002".
Could somone give me a clue?

| Open the "Retail2002.sln" file in wordpad, change
http://localhost/Retail2002 to http://"your web servers real
name"/Retail2002, save the file.
Play with it, and remember, enjoy.
