Retail Site Installation

| This is for the evaluation version of Commerce Server 2002.
I went through all the installation instructions that came with it.
I turned the website into developer mode to get better error messages
when I was presented with "no web site configured at this address". I
was then presented with one stating a certain account lacked for
access.
By checking out these forums I figured out which accounts needed
access to which SQL Databases.
I possibly went over board and gave too great and too many priviledges
to the IUSR (this is the annoymous account used by IIS) IWAM and
ASPNET (giving each DBO access to each of the db's Retail_commerce,
Retail_DW, MSCS_Admin, MSCS_CatalogScratch).
The error pertaining to lack of security permissions has been replaced
again by the "no web site configured at this address".
I am running 2k Advanced Server with SQL Enterprise Edition on the
same machine as the Commerce Server.
What have I missed? Any suggestions?
cheers in advance

| Thank you for using Microsoft Newsgroups.
You want to follow the steps outlined in the product documentation. The
steps have you give the right permissions to each user without having to
give dbo rights.
Commerce Server 2002 > Securing Your Site > Using Windows Authentication >
Deploying Commerce Server Using Windows Authentication.
As to the error "no web site configured at this address", it doesn't seem
to be a permissions issue. Did it ever worked after you unpup it? Did you
get any errors during the unpup? Check the pup.log file and make sure you
did not get any errors. Also after giving the users the right permissions,
you might want to try to unpup again.
