Well, you've hit right on one of the key differences between the editions.
We don't do much if any custom reporting for our Standard Edition customers,
so it hasn't been an issue for us. You might checkout the following document
that provides pretty good information about what reports are supported in
both editions vs. those that are only in the Enterprise edition. From that
you can extrapolate what data is and is not available in the Standard
Edition Data Warehouse.
