Hello,

I have a somewhat unusual situation because I'm trying to set up a
Commerce Server 2002 eval on Windows 2003 Web Edition. I realize it's
not an officially supported configuration, but it should work for my
simple testing purposes. I'e setup the MSDE version of SQL server,
and verified that the SQL service is running fine. Then I set up
Commerce Server 2002 eval + SP3. The manager comes up and all of the
links work, except the SQL link. I get the error:

Snap-In Failed to INitialize.

Can anyone offer any suggestion to try and fix this? Thanks,
Eduard

Hi Eduard,

Are you still having issues with this?

That is not really a supported configuration, you should install SQL
Developer or Std edition at minimum.
