I'm a writer on the Commerce Server documentation team. We are wondering how
you're doing with the "Installation and Configuration Guide for Microsoft
Commerce Server 2007" (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=57268). Do you
have any comments that would help us improve it, such as specific areas
where it might be difficult to follow, or ideas for ways we can make it
better? If so, please reply to this post. We'd love to hear from you about
this, or any other area of the documentation.

Thanks!

Hi. I'm new to CS 2007 but the doc worked fine for me. TY It was a daunting
doc for sure. The new samplesite install doc is missing alot tho. also
the sampledataimport gave me a web.config not found error which im working on
now.

Instead of a doc, maybe a installation/configuration tool that adds all
groups/user either local or in a domain with the appropiate user rights.
This installation of CS takes the more experienced IT specialist more than
4-5 hours alone in installing, on a single machine. Let alone in a 'desired'
setting, multiple servers and even more servers. Installing and configuring
is a very time consuming job, and could/should be a lot easier.
