Feature Pack 1 is available for download today from
www.microsoft.com/commerceserver. The Feature Pack provides Commerce Server
2002 customers with new user interfaces for discount and catalog management,
staging support through Application Center drivers, enablement of
coupons/promotion codes, and catalog display sequencing.

The new user interfaces have the look and feel of Windows based tree menus,
so users will feel comfortable making the switch to the more performant UIs.

Try out Feature Pack 1 and let us know what you think.

I downloaded it and I read the readme, but I can't find a list of the new
features that the FP provides.

Also, I want to know what I need to do to migrate an application I already
had in Commerce Server 2002 sp2 with ms .Net (based on the Retail2002
solution) to get the new functionalities of the FP1. By what I have read I
understand that there is a new BizDesk, and I would much like to try it in
my app.

One last thing, is this the final release of the FP1 or is it still on a
beta phase?

Regards,

Sandra Castellanos

FP1 introduces a new web services model for Catalog and Marketing systems,
role based security and new Winform Uis to replace most of Bizdesk catalog
and marketing functionality.
Maybe this link can help
http://blogs.msdn.com/vinayakt/arch.../20/135684.aspx

There are migration tools to migrate your catalog and marketing databases
to FP1.

This is the final release.

Thanks
