We experience a problem with CS2002.

Under "Catalogs" in the Business Desk, there is no Catalog Editor.
We are logged in as administrator and should indeed be authorized to access
the Catalog Editor.
Any hints on what may cause this would be appreciated.
We are running CS2002 trial edition and our site is based on StarterSite.pup.

Have you installed FP1 or is this CS2002 service pack?

It may have been caused by FP1, I am not sure (I have not personally
hands-on the issue).

Anyway, the issue was resolved by adding the following entry under
"<moduleconfigs>" in BizDesk.xml :

<moduleconfig id ="catalogs_editor.xml" category="catalogs"/>

So now it works, but we are not really sure why the required entry was
missing from BizDesk.xml. Maybe FP1 has removed it?

The entry was removed by FP1
In FP1 the catalog editing was removed from Bizdesk. You should use the new
CatalogManager UI that ships with FP1
