Hello!

We use CS2002 + SP3 + FP1.

We create virtual catalog in business desk. It is always created as
already materialized, so it is needed to be rebuilt after chages.
Can we create a nonmaterialized virtual catalog with the use of
business desk?

Bizdesk by default creates non-materialized catalogs. You can materialize
and un-materialize your virtual catalogs using the MaterializeVC.vbs
script. This file is installed in the Program Files\Microsoft Commerce
Server 2002\Support directory. You cannot do this using bizdesk.

I notice that you are on FP1. You should be using the new WinForms based
catalog manager application for editing your catalogs instead of bizdesk.

Irrespective of whether your catalogs are materialized or non-materialized
you will always need to rebuild them to reflect the changes you have made
in your base catalogs.
