I have a xml file which has Definition, ProductID, List Price, Item Number,
Product Affinity Links, Parent Category etc... and also the properties
associated to that productID.
The thing is that I have to Insert or Update (c# class) this Information in
the CommerceServer 2002 database based on if the productID exists in the
database or not.
Can someone please tell me how can that be achieved.. .I mean, using the
existing CommerceServer API's. I do not have any experience with the
CommerceServer 2002.
Or if someone can tell me what refferences are to be used, how can I make a
database connection, how can I get an existing products value as true or
false as then I can use the CreateProduct method or if the product exists
then how can I set the properties related to the product.
I hope if any one reads this and has substaintial CommerceServer exp .. can
certainly understand.. ..

Kindly respond back ASAP as this is very urgent.
Thanks in Advance,
Vishal.

See my reply to the previous post.
If you are using C# then you need to use the Interop opbjects to perform
the updates
See this link for interop objects
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...-us/csvr2002/ht
m/ cs_rp_microsoft_commerceserver_interop_c
atalog_net_kzwu.asp

You need to add a reference to the CatalogLib.dll which will be present in
the Assemblies folder of your commerce server installation

Let me know if you need additional information
