Variant ID (no variants)
|
|
|
| Hi,
We're working with the "Retail2002" site. In BizDesk, when creating a
new Base Catalog you have to choose a property for the "Product unique
ID" and another one for the "Product variant ID".
The "Business Desk Help" says: "If your products do not have variants,
select the same property here as you selected in the Product unique ID box".
That's exactly what we tried but it doesn't work. Whenever we try to use
the same property (e.g. the SKU) the following error appears:
"The variantid property for a catalog cannot be the same as the
productid property."
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

| This used to work in CS2002. However in Commerce Server FP1 you need to
create specify properties for ProductId and VariantId when creating a
catalog.
