Changing a Property Definition Type

| The brilliant minds who developed our company's web site created a property
definition Description Type Multilingual Text Long in the test environment
they have this definition type as Multilingual Text. I'm unable to export my
live inventory into the test because of this. I don't see anyway to modify
this to Long Text. I tried to delete and recreate the property but I continue
to get errors saying the property is still being used.
I've deleted it from all Product and Category properties but it still gives
the same error.
Any suggestions???

| When do you get the error that the property is still in use? Which action
gives you this error? Deleting?

| Yes, trying to delete the property definition activates a dialog saying that
the property is still in use. I've gone through the properties for categories
and products numerous times to verify if it is still there.
When I originally removed it from the category and products I just removed
it from each one. The property still exists as a choice to add.

| This problem was a result of artifact data left in the
CatalogDefinitionProperties data table. I believe this was residue from setup
of the site starter. I was advised on another thread to delete those items
from the table and that would allow removing in BizDesk. Here is the helpful
response I received:
