Hi,

After one of our developers intalled FP1 and SP2 on Commerce Server 2002 (on
Windows 2000 Advanced Server), I got following error message from Bizdesk
Catalogs section.

Script Error:
Number: 0x889800D8
Description: The Catalog Schema does not correspond to this version of
Commerce Server 2002.
Source: Commerce.CatalogManager
Help File:
Help Context: 0

Help, please!

Thanks,

Yes, that's expected and documented. If you use the Feature Pack, you need
to use the new Catalog Manager application to manage your catalogs. The
BizDesk uses the old COM APIs which will not

You can use the catalog migration tool in FP1 to reverse migrate your
schema if you have changed your mind about the feature pack.

If I just unistall FP1, does it bring back everything as before?
What is the safest way not to use FP1 in the current situation?

Thanks again.

If you have installed FP1 but not run the migration tools then you can just
uninstall FP1
After you have run the migration tools then you must first run the
catalogmigration tool with the -R option to reverse migrate the catalog
data, uninstall FP1
See this link on steps to uninstall FP1
