Author Category and Product Sequencing Broken in CS2007

After doing a whole bunch of Profiler and Query diving, I've come to the
conclusion that the RC1 release of CS2007 ranking doesn't work properly. The
RANK column from the Catalog_Hierarchy table is not getting pulled in the
query Ctlg_GetCategoryResults. It's always returning 0. Can someone tell me
why this happens or if this is a known bug? it's driving me crazy

Thanks,

Dave

I found the problem and fixed it. The ctlg_FillCategoryDescendants procedure
only joins to the CatalogHierarchy table for Virtual Catalogs, why I have no
idea, I'm trying to get the categories under the RootCategory of a Catalog
and unless it's a Virtual Catalog, this procedure will populate 0 as the Rank
for all cases. I added the join in manually and everything works fine now.

One of the touted features of CS2007 is the ability to Rank everything under
the sun with regards to Catalogs, so what gives in this case?

Thanks,

Dave
