Add TargetedContentCache again
|
|
|
| Hi,
I received an error when I try to publish a profile, a campaign or a PCO.
The error is access denied and I go to the iis log file and I notice that
when I call the bdrefresh.asp, the user goes anonymous. I dont know why,
because all the other request have domain\user. So as I was trying to fix
this problem I delete the TargetedContentCache from the publish PCO, but
now, I don't know how to put back this cache again...
can anyone help me?
thanks

| Hi, there,
Thanks for using commerce server newsgroup.
The anonymous access to refresh the caches is actually by design. The cache refresh is happening in runtime site, not the bizdesk site. Runtime site kind of "registers" itself to bizdesk and from bizdesk, when you
choose to refresh the cache, it requests the url from runtime site. There, anonymous access is enough.
So, to solve your problem, I would suggest that you double-check the IIS setting of your runtime site, anonymous access should be allowed. (since it is for internet shoppers, anonymous access makes sense.)
HTH,
