I have the exact same problem (as the chap below).....
This might be helpful too... My platform is 2000 Pro and I
have all the latest updates too including office updates.
I noticed the same thing about my web components. I also
noticed that I have fp4awel.dll and fp5awel.dll on my hard
drive. I upgraded from Frontpage 2000 to 2002 recently
which would explain the fp5awel.dll. I also added video
into my web site but I had to do that logged in as the
administrator even though my log-in account should have
all privledges an Administator has. Odd. Anyway my hosting
company does have Frontage Page 2002 server extensions
installed and I saw something about they are running an
Apache Server... I saw in FP2002 that that is a selection
you can make for compatiblity servers... the first time I
uploaded my web site I did not have that Apache server
checked.Anyway .....I didn't buy the upgrade for FP2002 I
ended buying the full blown software package..CompUSA was
out of upgrades...

I cut and pasted this. .......this is the problem I am
having to a tee. my web site is http//www.capetronics.com
if you need to check it out.

I have recently installed frontpage server extensions
| 2002 and I am unable to get my feedback page or search
| page to work. The error I get when I try to post is:
|
| FrontPage Run-Time Component Page
| You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page
| that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server
| Extensions to function properly.
|
| This form or other FrontPage component will work
| correctly if you publish this web to a web server that
| has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.
|
| Click the <Back> arrow to return to the previous page.
|
| I know the extensions are on the server and I'm about 95%
| sure the page has been extended. Please guide me in the
| right direction on this problem.
|
| Also, this may give alittle more information to the
| problem. When I try to add a web component some of them
| are not highlighted and it says server extensions must be
| installed on the server.
|
THanks Colin Campbell.
