Our users are currently experiencing problems with our
Intranet app. These problems show up as JavaScript errors
(we trap them using the window.onerror event handler). We
have also seen problems with the JavaScript event handlers
not being executed when we would expect them to be. The
technical team has not been able to recreate the
problems. When I have talked with users about the
problems the are seeing, they have mentioned that they
have unintenionally opened the Discussion toolbar by
clicking on the 'Discuss' button in the standard toolbar.
When users have had the discussion toolbar open they
consistantly have problems, when the close the toolbar,
the problems no longer occur. The users run Windows XP,
MS office, and IE 6 SP1. The client side technology on
the app is HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Any thoughts on
what the problem is or how to recreate them? I'd be happy
provide any information.

Those would be IE related errors, not FP SE
Try asking in an IE newsgroup
