Hallo all,

I´ve installed Frontpage Extensions at my RH 9.0 Linux nearby
complete. At the server runs a Apache 2.0.40 RPM and the developer
package from apache server.

Fine. The compilation seems to work now. Modules has been added for
loading within the httpd.conf file. Also fine.

If I am starting to install the "Root Web" so the script fp_install
cames up with a message:

Error: The server extensions were unable to access the file
"service.lck". Please check the file permissions.
ERROR: / installation failed.

The unix user does have full access to the documentroot of this
server. A directory is going to be created _vti_pvt with a frontpg.lck
file in it.

Does anybody know what I can do to install this?

Thank you in advance.

Robert.
