This is a really weird one that only has happened on one site. I've
been through R2R tech support and they have reached the same
conclusions that I have. If anyone has any ideas on this, I'd really
appreciate hearing them!

We have a site on a FreeBSD machine that is using FrontPage forms
under SSL.

This works fine, except when accessed by IE6. Under IE6 it randomly
breaks when adding the 4th to 6th fields to the form.

When it breaks, the form appears to submit, the displayed URL shows:

/_vti_bin/shtml.exe/page_name.htm

and the page displayed is the same form, with no fields completed

under http, it works, under mozilla, it works. Next step, I guess, is
to start pumping the IE6 requests through a proxy for further
analysis. But, before I do, does anyone have a clue why this could be
happening?

thanks

cLive ;-)
