Using Front Page to publish Web

| I have been told to use FP to publish my web to the server
so that the extensions are not corrupted, but when I try
to do this I get "500 command not recognised" I have done
many searches but am coming up cold. I can use Cute ftp
to upload but it appears to mess up the extensions just
like they said. I am using FP 2002

| thanks for your reply-I haven't asked them specifically
about the 500 error, but I was having problems with the
extensions working when I uploaded with cute ftp. They
would somehow work when the host tried to find out the
problem. I asked, and then they suggested using FP to
upload. When I tried that again I get the 500 error-this
occured with both FP 2000 and 2002.

| 500 is usually a server permission error and there should be an event in the server logs they can look at
Do not use a FTP tool once you start w/ the server extensions
