Author Web host supports Front Page Extensions only for version 2000

I have FP 2003 and my host has FP extensions operational. However, 2003 does
not detect that I have an FP-enabled site. I think this might be due to
hosting on Linux servers or that FP 2003 requires a newer version of the
extensions. What can I do to make my site compatible with the host?

FrontPage2003 will work happily with Linux servers running FP2000 or FP2002
extensions.
Has your site been extended? Look for a page named
http://www.example.com/_vti_inf.html If the page exists, it will tell you
the version of FPextensions that are installed, if the page isn't there,
then the extensions may not have been installed (some hosts bar access to
pages and folders named _vti*.*)

Tell your hosts engineer to configure your site to use the FPSE.
