Author In FrontPage 2003 what is a thicket?

I was trouble shooting a Web for someone who was running active server pages
and database connections. When she attempts to display a page that is using
the database results wizard (by the way, the database connection checks out
as good), the error, "Database Results Wizard Error
The operation failed. If this continues, please contact your server
administrator." is returned. I suspect that she has copied pages into the Web
rather than importing them and that her gloabal.asa file does not contain the
appropriate information. In order to "start from scratch" I attempted to
rename any asp pages as htm files, then deleted the database along with the
fpdb folder and finally delete the global.asa file. So that I could recreate
the files with a "clean" global.asa and connection string. However, when I
attempted to delete one of the files, I got an error message telling me that
the file was part of a thicket and could not be changed. What is a thicket
and what do I do about it?

Thickets files are the files associated w/ a file when you save as html from Word or another MSO program (or IE). Managed thru
Widows Explorer settings (manage files as pairs or not)
- usually in a folder w/. the same name as the files as name_files
You need to delete the original file in order to delete associated files if Windows was set to manage as pairs
