Here I am again...

I have been here a "few hours" attempting to figure out another bug in
a Microsoft product. The longer I deal with the products the greater
is my risk of divorce.

Win 2K Server, IIS 5.0, Front Page Server Extensions 2002 and Visual
InterDev 6.0.

"The server administration programs and the server extensions on the
web server are not compatible. The administration program is too old
to use with this sever."

Several posts have been placed here regarding the error message.

None of the solutions that I have found (the majority of which are
posted by "MVP"s) have worked.

My major difficulty is in trying to get VI 6 to create a project on a
Win 2K server (this is the cofig that I am stuck with).

I perceive, based on a combination of the error messages such as
"Unable to connect to server" (or something like that) and info in the
KB, that VI 6 is attempting to interact with the "old" server
extensions.

Does anyone out there have a solution?
