| I installed Small Business Server 2003, making my server an Active Directory
domain controller, and I imported my web sites from what was previously a
standalone instance of Windows Server 2003. I reinstalled FrontPage Server
Extensions and when I began enabling the Extensions for each of the sites, I
found myself unable to access the Extensions administration page. It would
keep forcing me to enter proper credentials.
I am logged in as myself, my profile is in the Domain Administrators and
local Administrators groups. The web sites are all configured with the ACLs
giving IUSR read access to the site and domain admins full control. I reset
the ACL for all children of the directory of each web site. The same is true
with the ACLs for "Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server
extensions\50".
I haven't run into this problem before, but after the hassle of dealing with
the ASP.NET user account on an Active Directory primary domain controller, I
would guess that that has something to do with this problem as well. I don't
know what to do. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jon Davis
