That's my add-in, so I may have been the one to write that. In any case,

I'm sure all of us know at least one person who has had to reformat their
box to get them working in some cases. Truth is truth.

That I've never heard of before. I can understand reformtting because =
Microsoft has screwed around with IE updates; Microsoft has screwed =
around with SQL Service packs; screwed around with Exchange Service =
packs; screwed around with Windows Service Packs; screwed around with =
funky Security updates; the list goes on and on. But web folders =
breaking? Even by reinstalling webfldrs.msi in C:\Windows\system32 in =
Windows 2000? Well something to look forward to I guess.
