Author Extensions permissions w/Visual Studio .NET

Hello, I've got IIS 6 on Windows 2003 Server with Frontpage Server Extensions
2002 installed and Visual Studio .NET 2003. I was in the process of creating
a new ASP.NET Web Application on one of my websites using frontpage
extensions, but I received a user and password prompt in vs.net when trying
to connect to the URL. What's weird is that I cannot use my administrator
account or any other account, everything is being blocked.

Then, when I went into IIS manager and right clicked the website in
question, clicked All Tasks, and then clicked Check Server Extensions, it
went to
http://site.com/_vti_bin/_vti_adm/f...age=health.htm, and
came up with an authentication prompt, but I could not log in! I used the
same user name and password as when I setup the extensions 15 minutes before.
And I can log on to Administrative Tools -> Microsoft SharePoint
Administrator with the same user and password to administer the extensions on
all websites.

Thanks so much, I'm sure it's some kind of permission or ACL problem
somewhere, but there is just such a mass of permissoins, I don't know where
to start!
