| I have Windows XP pro. I have tried to install IIS, FP
2002, and the FP 2000 extensions. At one point I could
publish to localhost. I messed something up!
I have tried to remove, reinstall IIS, FP 2002
extensions, etc.
Now I cannot Publish at all. When I get the Publish box,
it just hangs (hour-glass) and I cannot do anything with
the cursor. I will let it sit and then I get:
"The server sent a response which FrontPage could not
parse. If you are trying to connect to a FrontPage
server, check with the server's administrator to make
sure the FrontPage server extensions are installed
properly."
I am sure I do not have them installed properly. What can
I do to remedy this. I am about ready to format my hard
drive and reinstall XP and everything else.
Does anyone have any advise to offer? Thanks in advance.
