What does 'An access setup description is required when
creating the root web' mean? I only get this with one web
site. Thanks!

Hi Bill,

I think that your web server is an Apache on Linux.

The .htaccess file that is present in the web might contain invalid
entries. Delete the .htaccess file and try installing server extensions.

Please post the Extensions issue on a Unix based server in the following
newsgroup

microsoft.public.frontpage.extensions.unix

Hope this helps.
