| I'm running IIS on Windows2000 Server (SP4) w/ the
Microsoft FrontPage Server Extentions v2002 and Microsoft
FrontPage 2002.
I've created html forms on a few pages and set the form
properties to dump the results of the form out to a tab
delimited TXT file. This works fine on my development
server (both the inside and outside servers are configured
the same), w/ the fields saved to the file and a "Form
Confirmation" page appearing following the submit.
When I publish these pages out to the live server and
submit one of the forms, however, I get an error page
which directs me to look at the event log. This log
states that the file I'm attempting to write to "can't be
opened for writing" and "Access denied". The form results
are written to the file properly, however. I've double
and triple checked the permissions on these files
(compared to what is known to work on the inside dev
server), and even attempted to move them around to various
other locations in the directory structure w/ no change in
this behavior.
This must be a permissions issue, but I've run out of
ideas on what to check. Any suggestions would be most
appreciated!
