Author Time Stamp issue

Hello,

I have a site that had this problem on a w2k server with FP 2002. When the
page is edited the timestamp doesnt not change unless you delete it and
reinsert it. I figured it might of been an issue with the server extensions
so i moved the site to a 2003 server and the problem still occurs where the
edited date/time stamp doesn't change automatically. Has anyone ran into
this problem before?

Thanks,
JT

Is the timestamp in a shared border? A lot of users run into this when they
put the timestamp into a footer that's a shared border. Since the shared
border itself hasn't changed then the timestamp doesn't. The timestamp
itself isn't part of the server extensions, it's a bot that's set at design
time. Basically when you edit the page it should be updated and isn't
actually touched by the server extensions themselves.

Hope this helps,
