Whenever we update a single page in a Frontpage web (with
FP2K or FP2K2, the "Last Updated" date for every page in
the web changes to the then current date.

We're using Win2K and IIS5

Are you also updating the Last Updated time stamp contained in a shared
border?

No, we don't use any of the styles/themes/borders stuff.

An example of a site where this is happening is
www.morrisonil.org. Every page show a last updated date
of 4/2/4 even though only one page was recently updated.

But you are using a FP Include page which contains the lines:
<i>This page last modified
04/02/04

This include is at the bottom of every page I looked at (except the Splash
Page)

To fix the problem, use the FP Time Stamp (Insert -> Date and Time)
component, in the component properties choose the "Date this page was
automatically updated" option - this will show the date the page content was
last updated without changing all pages at once. (If you use this
component, the initial date shown on all pages will be the date you change
the Include page)
