| You must use a email address that is supplied for your domain. Cannot be
another *outside* address. Also, if your mail server requires
authentication, the mail feature does not support it.

| Thanks.
Is there a way to "authorize" another domain for the "from" email address ?

| For example, if your web is www.myweb.com,
the email server must be whatever is appropriate for myweb.com as well as
the email address. The mail server could be mail.myweb.com or it could be
something else. You would need to check with your provider.

| Thank you.
The thing is, I am the provider.
The web site is http://www.pierrot.viago.net and I must specify an email
address in the telenetinfo.com domain (another domain of ours) for the form
to work. If I try an email in the viago.net domain, it does not work.
So, where can I change the domain to viago.net ?

Telling us "it doesn't work" isn't sufficient enough information. No
errors, etc? No information in the events log? Server logs?
Sorry, I don't have enough information about your server set up and your
mail sever, etc., to provide any further information.
Maybe somebody else can help.

| Here is what I have:
Error in the web page:
FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.
Webmaster: please see the server's application event log for more details.
Event log:
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: FrontPage 5.0
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1000
Date: 4/20/2004
Time: 8:27:07 AM
User: N/A
Computer: ANUBIS
Description:
Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions:
http://www.pierrot.viago.net - Error #160009 Message: The email address
'manon@santebeaute.com'
is unknown.
If I change the e-mail address (in FrontPage) for webmaster@telenetinfo.com,
it works.
But it is the manon@santebeaute.com address that is configured in the Mail
Settings section of the Server Extensions settings.
There must be somewhere else I can change the domain(s) from which I can
send email.
Any ideas ?
