To start with I just got my computer rebuilt, so I might
be missing some entries. Anyways on my form page with the
submit button I get the error:
Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions' Smart HTML
interpreter on this non-HTML
page: "http://home/mypage/contact.htm

My IIS Default Web Site Email settings are:
Web Servers address:highlakessolutions@bendbroadband
.com
Contact Address:highlakessolutions@bendbroadband
.com
SMTP Mail Server:smtp-server.bendbroadband.com
Mail Encoding:Use default encoding
Character set:Use default encoding

Help would be appreciated
TIA

Have you reinstalled IIS and FPSE on your web server box, and
configured your Virtual Web Server to use the FPSE.

Regardless of what is set for the Default Web Site, you have to set the
email settings for the VWS you are using, and you shouldn't be using
the default web site for your site. You should reserve the default web
site for system help files, product help files, and such.

How are you sending messages from your site to the bendbroadband.com
server? If you are going through an Exchange Server, then you have to
tell exchange to relay from your box's IP address. Have you installed
the SMTP service on your web box?
