| I am a fairly new FrontPage user and working on my first
website. Our host is Bell and they do not support FP2003
extensions (only up to FP2000). What will happen if I
try to publish my pages anyway? Have there been many
changes? Also, I have heard that since FP publishes on
its own, I can't use FTP. Is that right? Any help would
be appreciated.

| There are no FP 2003 Server Extensions.
http://www.microsoft.com/office/fro...fo/servers.mspx
FP 2003 Will work with the FP 2002 Server Extensions, as well as the FP 2000
extensions, as long as you don't use any features that require the FP 2002
extensions:

If you use FTP to a server that uses the extensions, you will corrupt the
extensions, and the host will have to fix or reinstall. And, they may get
pretty angry. ;-)
