Publishing to remote server

| Just upgraded to FP2003.I'm running FP2003 over XP. FP
won't publish changes to my remote site. FP indictes it is
opening the site,asks for my username and password but
just sits there and never opens. If i cancel i get a
message that FP extensions may not have been installed but
i know that they are.
Also sometimes i get that the site doesn't exist and do i
want to creat one? I haven't said yes to that in fear of
what it might do.
Any suggestions..... Thanks in Advance
