Hi.

I am trying to setup a new web site on a server running Win2000 Server and
FPE 2000. I am using FFP2003. Existing sites setup with FP XP allow me to
access the TOOLS | Server | Permisions to set site and user access
permissions.

The Server menu item is grayed out and I haven't been able to find what
needs tob e done to enable it. Where is the permissions or FPSE config
problem?

It's recommended you use the FP2002 SE w/ FP2003
For the FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions Support Center see:

1) Download FP 2002 Server Extensions:

English ones are at:

2) Download FP2002 Server Extensions Updates (and install in this order):

http://download.microsoft.com/downl...US/fpse1002.exe
3) Install the Security Patch at:

4) Then to apply them see:

It is my understanding the 2003 runs on 2002 extensions not on 2000.
