Hello,

I created a virtual server with a local directory and extended it with
Frontpage extensions without any problem.
Later i added a virtual directory pointing to a UNC share on the fileserver.
I connect to this directory with a domain account created for this and gave
full permission on the directory for this user.

I also configurred that the virtual server and de virtual directory use this
domain account for anonymous access.

After reading
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...c%2Fowsj04.mspx i
added the 'allowUNC' entry to the registry of the webserver.

When i try to create a subweb for the virtual directory with the
administration webpage i get the following error:
"Warning: Your FrontPage web content is stored on a UNC share. Anyone will
be able to browse the content of your FrontPage web. To enable FrontPage's
access protection, uninstall the FrontPage server extensions, reconfigure
your Microsoft Internet Information Server to use a local partition and
reinstall the FrontPage server extensions."

When i use the commandline tool: 'owsadm -o create -w <subweb name>'
i get the following error:
"Creating web http://<webserver name>/<subweb name>.
Error: An exception occurred after RevertToSelf. Reverting to user..."

I read all i could find on both errors but didn't find a solution for this.

Regards,
