Hi there!

A few questions reguarding Frontage Forms. I have been
unable to get the form to email it's results. It only
displays an 'error 404 - not found' message when the
submit button is hit...my web host company says that the
frontpage server extensions are installed and I have
tried everything to get this to work, even used form
wizard, etc... Any suggestions?

Thanks!

You host hasn't configured the extensions to process email or you have not published the form to the
server via FP's http mode.

Try creating the simple feedback form under New | Page | Feedback directly on the server via FP.

Hi Leanne,

How about a URL for your form page. Maybe you overlooked something in form properties.

Reminder: The FrontPage form relies on two primary ingredients.

1. The FPSE
2. Publishing with FrontPage to http location. Don't use FTP to transfer an FPSE dependent component, as this will corrupt the extensions.

Always double or triple check your form properties settings.

Additionally, make sure you don't try setting up the Submit button with a mailto: link as this won't work.
