| We are migrating our development server from 2000 to 2003.
I copied over the Visual SourceSafe database with all of our webs. Now,
whether I attach IIS to SourceSafe using the "Use External" setting for
source control directly from the server, OR, I use InterDev on a client
machine to build an empty subweb first and then use the Change Connection
feature to attach to SourceSafe, all of our filenames end up being all
lowercase on both the client and on the server in IIS and on the file
system.
This wasn't the case on 2000. When one of our dev servers died, we moved
SourceSafe to another 2000 server and I was able to create the webs in
InterDev through the FPSE, and then when I said Change Connection it pulled
the files from VSS, with correct case.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian
