Error installing and open a particular site

On installing FP to this one particular site produces the following error

Error #80002 Message: System exception: access violation.
(OS Error #-1073741819 Message: exception occurred at 0x77bd3e33)

On browsing the site through FP we get
the server "" timed out. The current request did not complete successfully

Whatever we do we cannot get these to install on this site

Any ideas?

2 html files in the root folder were causing the errors I do not know why?
they were both around 50k in size and as soon as i removed them all worked
fine? Maybe the sheer size of the files or something wrong with them?
